This book was comprehensive in it's description of the Inca culture. It was probably more detailed than my daughter required for her 5th grade report but that is not a bad thing. Some of the activities included in the book are kind of boring and not that exciting for a kid.

I purchased this for my father. He loves TV Westerns and absolutely loves this book. He very much enjoys reading the details about the actors and the programs that he watches on the Western channel. I would say that this is his favorite birthday present that he has ever received from me.

especially well researched and informative a wonderful read.Would strongly reccomend for all those interested in tevelvion or western movie history Very well written

This book is filled with background information on most cowboy actors from the 50's and 60's. It tells what shows they were in, birth and death dates if deceased. Good index, easy to read, but could use more pictures. I don't know all the players in this book, but a few comments concerning my favorites seemed to be opinion. Would recommend to your collection if you were a cowboy fan.

This book is not about the movies or television shows of the western era. It is an encyclopedia of the actors that brought the genre to life on the celluloid screen. Western actors, big and small, top bill and sidekick are listed, each with a small biography. The author talks about how the actor found themselves in Hollywood and landed the show or movie that made them a shooting star. I was finally able to put names to the many faces that I have watched on screen for some time. It's basic reading, but very enjoyable. Long Live Cowboys!!
